Cooperation between social workers and the financial sector, 2019

2 General objective of the good practice:

If a street worker finds out that there is a new homeless in the city and stays in the same place for example 14 days. They will connect with social support in the city and provide financial support for the homeless. The whole collaboration is based on the trust between the street worker and the financial sector

New ideas and comparison with my work in Prague

10. Description of the GP (+/- 500 words):

If a street worker finds out  there is a new homeless in the city and stays in the same place for example 14 days. They will connect with social support in the city and provide financial support for the client. The whole collaboration is based on the trust between the street worker and the financial sector.  The street worker makes 100% for his client (homeless people, drug  useres). If the homeless disappears from the city, the street worker no longer gives the information to the financial sector.  He tries to make his client financial support as long as possible.

The clients had the same tents or shelters, made by one of them. He is sometimes homeless but he is also the streetworker.  He makes foundation for homeless people and he knows how to collect money. Then he buys tents or builds shelters (with awesome system for warm water and great isolation against the winter). I think this type of shelter could be great solution for all homeless people.

connecting with other organizations, the material needed to work on the street, knowledge of the city

visiting clients in their homes, sqauts. The places where you may not be welcome

BP's results for clients (or staff):  Improve the standard of living for clients by their difficult situation

cooperation with other social organizations in Prague.

See the social work from another perspective and putting good practice into our practice

For example, creating a social map of the city for our clients.

Allocation of social benefits in direct connection with the Social Department. Because we have different  social system in the Czech Republic.

Yes, we will try to make social map.
