Why do they release PSO2 Meseta? They would save a lot of money using the JP model for PS4 and making NA servers. They would have to translate it. And with individuals on PS4, they'd have a player base that is far larger. Would make sense they'd want it to be on Xbox 1. Because it's in Japan, sides, Sony is prominent in the west. I think Microsoft has significantly more sway than Sony does in this respect.

Man, I'm likely to be salty af if PS4 does not get this at the West because I do not have an XBOX and I am not positive whether my laptop can run it. I play with FFXIV on PS4 and would love to have PSO2 too. PS4 and well XBOX never allow and here they are with PC and XBOX getting crossplay. Since it's Sony and Sega and it's PSO2 this may be the first time these two companies come together to let Phantasy Star Online 2 to be played across all platforms! Maybe even the Switch too.I used to perform a pretty bad laptop that was pretty dated and purchased at Walmart (no crime to Walmart naturally ) and it ran good with hardly any troubles. So maybe there is hope? Used to run it in an old 2008 age HP laptop. Phantasy Star Online 2 is actually simple on the system requirements honestly. And when anyone is unsure, there is a specific build of PSO2 designed to benchmark and analyze your system. Other steps or no login required other than download, install.

Here is an interesting question I do not think anyone's asking. Why 2020? Granted it's not that far away and it allegedly been working on localizing it for decades so that it's got to already be at least mostly in English. Why the wait? The realistic reason is probably that it is not done being localized, and with a new course being declared at the end of the year they might want to synch the launch with that class, or the ending of episode 6, therefore buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta does not come out halfway through an episode, assuming it's actually going to be up to date.
