It was a fantastic time for sure, once I miss it, I've gone to winrsgold play some private servers. The other answer sums it up. Though, I think this comment section is filled with people who are tired and just want something different to do. And frankly it is a fairly niche group, that is why the personal servers which operate"2012scape" are fairly far down the list on popularity. The people which are actually enthusiastic about RS3 generally enjoy the present condition of Runescape game and revel in the PvM and 20 yrs worht of articles. Those that dislike EoC like OSRS's state. The group that actually would perform"2012scape" is not nearly big enough to justify the amount of work.
Jagex Duel Arena, and afterwards RS3 Staking
Simply saying Jagex; with Archaeology you have a narrative excuse to destroy the much hated Duel Arena, and then RS3 Staking, to get great. We could ruin it in some kind of event tied in to Kharid-Et. The Runescape players didn't pick anything other than that which faction won. They over-estimated the amount of RS3 Runescape players would play in case and then over-nerfed Tuska so the Runescape players never dropped. Would've liked to see the event being balanced so Tuska had a chance.
The Zaros emissary was throughout the event on the back of Tuska but you may just see him if you had Ring of Visibility or its permanent effect unlocked. Pretty sure the original intention was that the event was designed to be close between Tuska and the Runescape players but when Tuska narrowly won outside Zaros would have stepped in and won it to the Runescape players anyhow. What ended up happening though was far fewer Runescape players ended up enjoying the big event and as an outcome Tuska won just like the first 10 days or so straight of course that looks really awful on Jagex so they nerfed her and she had been swept from the Runescape players for the rest of the occasion.
What? If I'm remembering correctly guthix murdered Skargoroth and blinded Tuska. But honest, Tuska's capacity was squandered. I seem to recall that Saradomin fled from Tuska eons ago when he first approached Guthix's entire world, so at least it should have been a group effort to shoot down Tuska. The power of Skargaroth was attracted via the sword, an elder artefact by the way, also gave Guthix a few of his Tier two God Power. I would also envision seriously wounding Tuska in some manner helped give some electricity, as this sword seemed to https://www.winrsgold.com/ behave like the siphon. Also, Saradomin after getting his hands on the crown archival isn't gonna take care of Tuska unless an elder artefact is involved, which can be curious... because swordy'know.
