Hey Jagex, is currently giving out so OSRS gold many XP handouts bad or good for RuneScape game?

If it makes you more money in the brief term, does this make people stop RuneScape game sooner thus resulting in RuneScape players in the long term? Additionally, since people wait to play for things like DXPW, does it cause less RuneScape players on unless it is one of those weekends to be?

A lot of it is the simple fact that people don't have time to be on the computer so mobile games work out better. As individuals get busier cellphone and get older becomes relevant and is the only real way to sustain RuneScape game outside of attempting to get newer RuneScape gamers into RuneScape game. A lot of people don't have the time that they used to have to sit down and play with runescape for a few hours a day, mobile makes that more easy.

There are a great deal of multiRuneScape participant games that double exp or provide bonus for a time period for engaging in content or only playing generally and RuneScape is no exception. It might seem that one of the points you're attempting to make is that giving up copious amounts of bonus and/or double exp results in RuneScape players finishing content/RuneScape game faster and therefore stopping that may well be true but without hard evidence to support this I don't think Jagex can really admit this or have an open discussion about it.

The view on bonus/double exp appears to alter once RuneScape players have reached specific milestones within RuneScape game. By way of example, a RuneScape player wanting 99 Herblore is going to be thankful for dual exp weekends as it will save them money and resources along the way to 99 but as soon as they have attained 99 Herblore they won't be quite as grateful because it will diminish the uniqueness of the milestone achievement.

To decide what impact the xp has on brand new RuneScape players we would require some new RuneScape players to ask. It wouldn't be sufficient for a seasoned RuneScape players to just start a new account because most of us know good exp procedures and methods to reach certain pieces of content. Like I have mentioned above, I do not think any decision shared or could be how to get coins on old school runescape drawn without adequate evidence.
