What's your RuneScape story? I started playing RuneScape when cheap runescape 3 gold my older brother, who had moved in my dads following the divorce, told me about it(circa 2006). Whenever I would walk past his room that he was always laying down on his bedroom floor playing it on my dads laptop. After pestering him a little, just needing to bond, he eventually told me in the kitchen. I wasn't a huge gamer.

I downloaded it on the computer at home and immediately fell in love when I saw the loading screen and login screen. I was so clueless for its first couple of months. My brother (eragonzaroc3), a strongboi at par 72, lured me for the 10k he lended me in the wilderness. He also got my father to join, the username I'll always remember (scorpio530), and my dad got online a bit mostly just as a way to speak to me. My brother enticed him too, and my dad quit runescape.

In addition, I remember when I left my first username at my fathers house. We were sitting there trying to think of an immature username when we found that"tidy magnet" was accessible. Likely a story for many of you, however it's one of the reasons I play. Since that time I've played on and off, but seem to randomly get attracted back. I've thought about quitting as I believe myself grow away from runescape and not feel motivated, but I feel like I owe it to finish my objectives.

Edit: I thought that I might add somewhat. I used to be limited to 1 hour of computer/tv time and I go over my limit and my sisters could get angry at me. I convinced my mom to buy me a month of membership following years of cluelessly enjoying f2p when we were in the beach and I promised her I'd do something for her that summer (probably chores). I remember since I was a noob, being really happy and what is the best way to make money on osrs excited and of course wasted. Also me and my brother went to watch fireworks on the shore on Fourth of July as children and I recall splashing"water spells" on each other out on the water.
