At the same time, Internet creates a paradox – although the process of information search takes less time, Internet is still the most time-consuming media format. The statistical data suggests that young adults are inclined to spending online approximately three hours per day, and this number is growing each year. This tendency, although harmless at the first sight, can result in serious health and socialization problems.

The appearance of electronic databases has also affected the process of searching and storing the information, making it less complicated. Moreover, the information kept in electronic databases can be updated much faster, and the level of data security is much higher. Computer technologies introduced to the sphere of accounting have also altered the mechanism of bookkeeping to a large extent. These technologies not only increase the speed of accounting operations, but also provide more accurate results, which is crucial for the aforementioned sphere. Moreover, a large number of bookkeeping technologies are designed to be flexible in order to adjust to any changes in business practice. Furthermore, both, electronic databases and accounting programs require less paperwork, and therefore, are more ecologically-friendly.

The contemporary science is one of the fields that have benefitted the most from the development of computer technologies, given the amount of calculations and data analysis it requires. With the introduction of supercomputers scientific progress has accelerated considerably, allowing scientists to concentrate on analyzing the received data in terms of the research. Supercomputers are widely used in the spheres of pharmacology, ecological studies, physics etc. Moreover, the exploration of space at the contemporary level would not be possible without the implementation of supercomputers because regular computers are not powerful enough to process the information received from modern electronic research machines, such as telescopes. For instance, NASA is one of the leading participants in the development and usage of supercomputers, often to model the missions before they are realized, hence attempting to eliminate possible risk factors.

My life has also been affected by the development of computer technologies. I tend to spend a significant amount of time in social networks, communicating with people from different parts of the world and reading current news that pertain to the sphere of my interests. As a result of the rapid development, computer technologies are now perceived as an integral part of human’s professional and daily life, introducing a series of convenient innovations to conventional operations. Most of the spheres have benefitted from the development of computer technologies, hence creating a demand for further technological upgrades. At the same time, many of the changes introduced to the social sphere can be regarded as negative, considering the preference many people give to online communication instead of the real life contacts. Nevertheless, computer technologies have occupied a niche in the field of human needs. Hence the process of future development of computer technologies will be directed at making new technologies more convenient, fast and user-friendly in order not to lose the position they hold now.
