ArcheAge’s homesteading system allows players to construct houses in designated zones throughout the world using a placement method similar to the Sims house builder. These structures allow ArcheAge players to decorate both the interior and exterior of their homes with cosmetic and functional furnishings. Homes require a land tax to be paid in order to keep ownership of the land plots. Taxes increase exponentially with each additional property owned.

Justice System

ArcheAge contains a very unique judicial system with player run courts. Players, like in real life, can become a part of a jury and judge certain players who have committed crimes. Within this system, there are minimum and maximum prison sentences that are determined by jury vote among the jurors.

Trade Routes

Trading routes are a very effective way to make money. A player gathers or farms specific materials in order to craft resources at a destination specific terminal and walks or rides them to a corresponding trading post merchant. While this is not unique in and of itself, it is a very expansive and all-encompassing experience

Travel

In ArcheAge there are many options for travel. These of course include walking, climbing (ladders, vines, trees), swimming, personal mounts and personal boats. These are much like any other MMO, however, there are also personal gliders or car-like machines such as tractors for transportation of larger stashes of resources.

On top of this, it also features a leveling system that is similar to most MMOs but is even more expansive. All of these features make ArcheAge a must play for those that love the genre. And is the perfect game for those interested in one of the above features.
